Well, it has been a rough week for our Carson. First he had tubes put in his ears early this week, and now this. We went to the Primary Children's Hospital after a rough night. This is one of those times I wish I hadn't waited all night. Carson's fever was over 104.0, but I was able to get it to break down to 102.0, so I thought everything was O.K. I slept in the room with him, and he sounded awful...absolutely miserable. When morning came we were waiting to take him to instacare, but after cleaning up a bit and coming across the papers from his surgery. We took him to Primary Children's E.R.

Even the Drs. were convinced that they would suck out all the snot down is nose, and throat and we would be able to take him home. Luckily, he fell asleep. When he fell asleep his oxygen levels dropped, and we earned a night stay at the hospital. Poor kid. They suction every few hours, but each time his fever began to stay down, and his levels began to go up. He made so much progress.
After we got the test results, sure enough it was RSV, and double ear infections. I don't have hardly any pictures except for the morning he got released...bummer. He is off oxygen, and doing much better.
