Sleeping is impossible!!!

Maybe I should've said sleeping at the right time is impossible. I have been exhausted all day today, and very sick. At the moment right now I feel ready to go, and get things done, but wait it is midnight, ugh.

Being pregnant and sleeping is quite an ordeal. Rolling over is an Olympic event, that requires much skill and perseverance. Especially these days. I find myself in a lot of pain with every movement, my doctor says, "you're pregnant with number 4, all of your muscle have weakened." Bummer. I still have 9 weeks to go and between the pain I feel and the acid in my stomache, finding rest at the right time of day is quite difficult.

Well, looking at the positive is all we have.

How can this possibly be #4???

I am having baby #4, and so we all think yeah I should be ready...nope far from it. I finally melted on Monday, that the hospital wouldn't even let me bring our baby home. I don't have a carseat, a crib, a swing, a bouncer, bottles, and much, much, more....in fact the list of things that I have would be really small. A lot of love, and excitement. But that isn't going to keep him warm, or even get him home.

So drum roll please....WE HAVE A CRIB!!! It is beautiful. I have always been given one, and while taking the crib down last time it was broken by little miss Kiley. So I searched and looked everywhere, and finally I got one on clearance for a great price. We love it, plus I found the most darling bedset for him...it is all coming together. (Pictures coming).... oh and I finished sewing Kiley's quilt for the Nursery too...YEAH!!!

So have no fear we have a carseat on its way, and much more coming. He has clothes to wear, and blankets to lay in. We even have a swing, a darling bouncer, a boppy, and much more. I guess when you put your mind to something we really can get things done.

Plus thanks to Rob who never got overwhelmed, and continued to remind me we still have two months left. So all in all we are excited and almost ready once Fedx delivers our stuff. YEAH!!!

Holidays, New Year, and Today

The holidays from Halloween to New Years have been absolutely wonderful!!! I can honestly say I love this time of the year, I could do without freezing temp. but other than that it is always so much fun to get together with everyone.

Christmas was a big success at our house, and not because we got anything grand. My family came up for Christmas Eve and some even spent Christmas Day with us. I believe it is the first time since my sister passing almost two years ago that everyone was able to be there. It was wonderful to be together, it was relaxing...how can that be with almost thirty people...but it was. We ate, played games, watch California Raisin Christmas Special (due to the request of Kelly, and Cindy), talked, and probably ate some more. Throughout the day some would have to head to other plans they had, and then the rest of us played games until the almost 2:00 am. Cutler came out at one point and said, "I know why Santa hasn't come yet...because the house isn't clean." ;-) lol. Maybe it is because it is only 9:30, and you haven't gone to bed, but do I really know anything. :-)

Kiley was the first to wake up at 7:00 am, and Christmas Day began. Cinnamon Rolls were rising thanks to Grandma for waking up early to pull them out of the fridge, and the kids were so excited. Everything was perfect!!! Right down to playing the wii for much of the day, before headed out to see Rob's family. Once again, family laughed and enjoyed each other, and good food.

We have since spent the Christmas break playing games, and with family. Any chance we get for a little fun with someone we are up and ready to go. The kids have been wonderful. New Years Day was spent at Grandma Cadina's home where we enjoyed some yummy won tons, and stir fry.

It seems that once again it didn't take much to have a great time through the holidays. It was being together with those we love the very most, and finding enjoyment and excitement in one another.

And today had to come, but that is OK. We have a new year ahead of us. Lots to do, a baby to have, and new memories to create. So today we picked up the mess around us, and we look forward to a wonderful 2010!!!
