Our 10th Anniversary (Date)

10 years ago Rob asked me out to a concert up in Sundance. Peter Brienholt was performing, and I may have dropped the hint that I would like to attend the show as we left from church the previous Sunday. Well, he took the hint and ran with it. He asked me out, and I was hooked.

Rob and I lived in the same complex just off of BYU, called Campus Plaza. The girls downstairs told him they could see him dating me, and who would've guessed that a short while later we would be married.

From our first date up at Sundance, one month later we were engaged to be married. 5 months later we were married in the Bountiful, Ut Temple. Ten months later we gave birth to our first son. That was a year!!!

Well, in ten years since our first date we have been blessed to have 4 children and 1 on the way. By our actually 10th anniversary, I will be a month shy of delivering our newest baby. We have found a place we love to live, and have been in our home for 6 years. Rob has finished his degree, and has been working for Wells Fargo for 5 years. We have made great friends along the way, and love our neighborhood. We have been to Disneyland, Yellowstone, Colorado, Snowbird (more than a dozen time), enjoyed many camping trips, hiking trips (which Rob is still alive from this last summer), and many other things. We have loved having our kids in sports, and dance. We love supporting them, and being with them.

We look forward to many more years together!!!
So for a surprise, Rob brought me back to Sundance for a Date. We enjoyed dinner in the theater by ourself. After a wonderful dinner, Kneaders (he know my love of places to eat). He started pulling out dessert from the picnic basket, and it was things like: cinnamon bears, marshmallows, cookies, strawberries, and more. I kind of laughed and said, "What are you going to whip our creamy milk chocolate?" Sure enough, he pulled our a miniature stove, and a recipe for CHOCOLATE FONDUE!!! Yummmm....can it get any better than this!!!

I gotta say, I love this man!!! I am so glad that I went on a date with him 10 years ago.

Carson's 1 1/2 Birthday!!!

Carson is 1 and 1/2!!! YEAH!!! I know we don't usually celebrate the half birthdays around here, but I couldn't resist. I just love this kid!!! Oh, and I totally bombed his first birthday. I got him presents, made him a cake, and it seemed that we spent the whole month of March sick. So somewhere in the month we opened his birthday presents, and another day ate his cake. I have a handful of pictures, but really that is all. I wish I could say we did better than that, but really we barely survived last winter!

So, yeah for today!!! Carson is such a joy in the home, and all the excitement kept us laughing the whole night long.
I didn't know if we would ever get this toy opened. Once he found the horn, and realized it played music...he was in love. He danced and danced, and so did the other kids.
Carson's new toy!!!
Happy Birthday little man!!!
He never tore into the cake, but he enjoyed the cake!!!

Kiley's First Day of Preschool

After much anticipation Kiley is headed to school. She will be going to Preschool around the corner at Miss Missy's house. We are so excited for her, but not ready for her to grow up!!! Hopefully this year will last a really long time, because I am not ready to say she is in kindergarten.

Kiley is such a little girl. With three brothers one might think that she would be a little bit rough and rumbly. Well, that is just not her. She loves to get her hair done, and look we have braids for the first time!!! Which she is so excited about, because her hair is getting long (well, longer). She loves to dance, get her nails done, put makeup on, sing, and play house. We love you little miss Kiley, have a GREAT first day of school!!!
Her new shoes, and she loves the pink little socky!!!
Kiley's new backpack!!!
